Thanks for adding your machine to the forum..i see you are in southern ontario. Im sure this is the best part of Canada to own a rig or motorcycle for that matter.

    Hi hibernaters,

This is for Thane Gilles and one other i think who rides in winter. Just a note to say winter tires are now available for motorcycles. So we can ride em in Quebec!

    Hi Doug,

If you are still counting, I have a military issued, OHV engine, CJ-750 from 1957.

In a not so far future, maybe there will be enough sidecars present at one of the CVMG rallies to organize a "special ride" in the neighborhood... It would certainly attract the attention of people and, help bring them to our event.

    Hi Jack,

It think thats a good idea. I need a big ass trailer to haul ours. 50-70 miles out is our limited .

My Nimbus is a Military unit and will be in Paris this coming summer. The side car is also Military (as noted by the machine gun mounting hole) but was painted before I came to own it. It is too pretty to paint over.

Last year I sold the Sportster and its chair and I thought I was back to just the two Norton outfits. But the recent change in health of an old neighbor led me to now own a 1982 Honda 900 with a Jawa chair. Not my usual ride but we will try it out. Not selling the others though.

Hi Thane, I have a mostly 79 XS650 Yam with a GBF chair (street, similar to the old Avon), still some work to do on it. for the guy looking for a windscreen I chose a Goldwing replacement and simply cut the bottom off it. A angle grinder with diamond blade works well. clean up with a belt sander in the vice and skim the edge to suit. not intended for long jaunts, mostly grand kids and the dog. Paul.

I have a "1957" CJ750 in Victoria. Would be glad to know of any other CJ or sidecar riders in the area.
