Hi Peter,  I belong to the Ganaraska Section and received the note below a couple of months ago. Although not exactly in the Durham region the gentleman being recommended for work on your Norton seems highly qualified. His phone number is in the attachment. Good Luck, Bob..

I received the message below from Mike Glover, FYI.

Speaking of motorcycles, my friend Roger Burtnik, the mechanic who got my Norton back on the road last year (I was out riding it today) was recently laid off from his job as a mechanic at GP bikes along with many other staff members due to the current pandemic. He is now living with his family in a house just north of Cobourg and is interested in taking on freelance motorcycle repairs working out of his residence. Roger is a really nice guy and I’ve always found him to be reliable, reasonably priced and very good at his trade. He used to own Ton Up cycles in Toronto and is very familiar with vintage bikes. He’ll be doing work on my Triumph soon and probably the Norton at some point. If any of our members are interested, his number is 905-621-9424
