I recently acquired a Ducati 160 in boxes.

I am looking forward to info as to where I

can purchase parts for these bikes as they

are not very common. I will need gaskets seals

    for forks ect. Thanks.

Hi Peter, I too have a 1966 Ducati Monza in boxes and missing some parts, including both wheels. I too am finding that parts are hard to come by. Just saw an ebay sale for wheels (and they were in pretty rough shape) $329 each (not including shipping). Apparently it is a rare bike in Canada and parts are hard to come by; according to Wolgang Haerter in BC who is a source.

If my search comes up empty I may abandon the project. And sell off the parts.

    Hi Sri

Yes they are rare bikes.Sorry but I don't have any extra wheels.

Just a frame and fork parts. I'll keep an eye open in case I come across

    some wheels. Good luck.

I have tried Reza by email but haven't heard back. It was Reza that I bought the parts of the Monza from about 15 years ago. And they have been waiting for me to do something with them all these years!

Here's a thought, Peter. Either I buy the parts you have (if you could send me a list) or you buy what I have (I will have to inventory what I have). Let me know what you think.

I too have a parts kit monza 160 I would buy both of the others. There are parts available internationally without the minimus rule and with tariffs (TrumP) US shipping is tres cher, the other sources are UK back to classics and Australia where shipping is also cher.

    Hello,

Just saw this post so thought i would respond.

I have some 160 parts, mostly electrical and engine, no forks or wheels.

I am sorting my singles parts to get my 250 parts separated. Here is what i have found so far for the 160:

    4 x valve covers
    3 x cam gear/bevel gear covers, 4 bolt
    1 x bevel shaft housing
2 x bevel shaft with cam gear
2 x rocker arms with pins
1 x oil pump cover with pump
    1 x Dellortto Carb, UB18BS

    new R Brake Switch

new handlebar Switch assy (not sure which year though)

I may also have new headlight rim and other bits, still sorting so may post here again with another list if i find any.

I also have what i think is 160 primary gear (21T) and clutch outer with gear (57T).

I can pass on some 160 info also. The 160 is an over bored 125 so very little parts are interchangeable with the 250 models as the 125/160 is a smaller engine in physical size and 250 has 18" wheels.

It started production in 1964 as a 3 speed and in 1965 became a 4 speed until production stopped in 1970. Production numbers are estimated around 14,000 across all years.

Ping me if you are interested in what i have. Dave.
