Hello I am posting this ad on behalf of a friend.

Here si his description: 1983  750 Honda V45 Sabre Liquid cooled and shaft-driven.  I purchased it  in 1985.  It’s all original and has never been in any kind of accident.   As indicated by the speedometer it only has 11,500 km.

I  enjoyed riding it until 2004  and then it went in storage the first time in 2004 until about 2014  or 2015, at that point it needed to have the carburetor  cleaned and fully serviced which was  done  through a local  well-known Shop and  at that point he  had it running perfectly.

Because  the  gas tank had some gas still left  in it during the storage period, it  needed to be soaked and cleaned from the residue etc.  from  gas   left in it for that length of time and therefore the mechanic kept it to deal with it and  he  would  eventually call me to install it back.

‘Long story short’ I didn’t get to see that tank for many years later (6 -8) because he misplaced it during  when he permanently closed his shop!. In the  mean time the bike was back in storage  in an older garage.  When I finally took it back to the  Mechanic to have  the tank  re-installed and stuff, he told me that he couldn’t get the motor moving as it had seized due to apparent small  creatures(mice or something)and that their  ‘urine’  had seeped  into the cylinders and caused it to seize.

He tried to get it going and kept it in his own garage for another year or so and would occasionally work on it to figure things-out,  we did finally conclude  that it’s probably not worth it for me to spend the money to have it repaired  and  at that point  I  decided  to  take it back  home and sell it ‘as is’.

Could be a good project or an excellent parts supply. $1,200 OBO
