I plan to leave Saskatoon around mid-June 2019 for a trip on my Ural through Edmonton, Jasper, Williams Lake, Bella Coola and then ferry down to the Island.
From there I will cross to Bellingham Washington and go to Redmond (close to Seattle) to visit the URAL distributorship. I was told it was a scenic trip to Portland from Seattle, so why not? From there the plan is to go through Montana, up to Calgary to visit my mum, through Speedy Creek, Moose Jaw & Regina and then home again. I plan to stop at all the spas, hot springs and other sites of interest along the way.
My wife has given me a month (!) to be on the road, which is important as a Ural cruises at about 80 kph (on the flat in Saskatchewan). I can go so long as I don't travel from "northern" BC to Bella Coola by myself. She's a little concerned about lonely roads.... As a point of interest, Cycle Canada did a 2-edition article on the BC part of the trip a couple of years ago, which is what first attracted my attention.
Therefore, I am looking for someone who is willing to tour the scenic bits of northern-ish BC with me. Another Ural would be ideal, but someone who doesn't need to zip around at 150 mph will do. Heck, I'll even take a sidecar passenger: there's lots of room.
