Any suggestions on a good broker/company? My '09 BMW is with Aviva, and they're looking for $983 for basic liability ...

I switched to Mitchell & Whale Insce brokers ltd last year, after looking long and hard for the best deal.

They are very friendly, offer monthly payments without surcharge, and don't demand you give them home and car insce policies also. I have an 04 FJR1300 and an 11 Spyder, total cost $1,751.15, liability only. Of course your riding history, etc, can make a difference.

    Good luck,

    Daniel Klestorny

Hi Larry,  Ross Thompson recommended Mitchell & Whale to me a few years ago when State Farm fled the Country and Dejardins took over more or less getting out of the motorcycle insurance business. I am not riding on public roads any longer so it is no longer an issue for me but I now insure my cars (2) with them and save $1,000 a year. Might be worth checking out next time you are renewing your vehicles.    Regards, Bob...

Call Tania from Mitchell and White ph. 2896381533 mention you are CVMG  she is very helpful and knowledgeable explaining standard motorcycle insurance and the vintage policy (min 6 years lic.) which allows you to ride max 2,000km per year.

Thanks, gentlemen. As it happens, it was Tania I spoke to, very helpful. I'll definitely be asking them to quote on my car and home insurance when they come up.
