I require a machine shop in Ontario capable of boring 1968 R69S BMW cylinders, any recommendations?

    Thanks Barry

Is there something special about the cylinders on this bike or do you just need a competent motorcycle machine shop?

Well, Ontario's big place. I would go to Wolfe Worx in London. However, any decent motorcycle shop will be able to do it or know someone who does. My advice however is not to go to a general automotive machine shop. They often don't have the light touch needed for motorcycles.

I take my GT750 cranks to Steffen's Engine rebuilders in Oshawa, and have seen BMW pots there. Possibly Bob Whittlton's.

Their main business is in huge diesel and marine engines, but they are happy to do bike stuff.

I was unable to locate a shop that could offer a quick turn around and had the work done by Millennium Technologies  https://www.millennium-tech.net  they also have a Canadian branch http://www.fastent.com.

When we spoke they were knowledgable, didn't try to up sell and said they could have it done in less than 9 days, I had the cylinders back in less than 2 weeks.
