Scaling back Getting out

I feel it is time.  I've been telling people for a few years  that it was coming.  A stroke a few years back was harder on me than I thought.. Add arthritis, aching back,  bladder leaks, sore leg muscles, failing  memory and general health and, Most important; Not leaving my wife of fifty years, the burden of closing my shop. It is time.

I will stay in my shop over winter (It's warm in there)  i'll finish off some projects. and sell off most of my stock. I plan take in some short term work,  to keep some money coming in.   I'll probably be lacing more rims  now that Jock is gone. RIP.

My son is wanting a Norton or BSA Open class flat tracker, to compliment our T100,  my grand daughter has been been practicing on,  that way they won't have to share one bike.

I started my apprenticeship in 1972 At Sturgess Cycle in Hamilton and have been at it ever since.. good years and lean ones, worked days at a dealer and nights in my garage at home.   and looking back after 46 years, I find it was the number of truly great people that rode motorcycles, that made it worth while.
