Old Fort York - 30th Annual Lucas Push

  • 17 Feb 2024
  • 7:00 PM
  • See attached

The  "Push" will be on Saturday, February 17th.

Everybody is welcome

Starting Point:

The Push begins at the Fox and Fiddle, 27 Wellesley St. E, Toronto M4Y 1G7 at 7:00 pm on Saturday, February 17th, 2024 . Feel free to come early. (https://foxandfiddlewellesley.com/)

Second Pub:

At some point between 8:30 and 9:00 pm we will push a Triumph Tiger to the Firkin on Bay at 1075 Bay St. M5B 2B2 just south of Bloor. It should be noted that this bike was owned by Harry Roberts who had the original idea for the Lucas Push 30 years ago. Harry is no longer with us but his family has graciously agreed to let us use his bike. By the way, it is a Triumph Tiger that is depicted on this year's T-Shirt and sweatshirt logos (designed by Holly Varey, thanks Holly). Here's the information on this pub https://www.firkinpubs.com/firkinonthebay/

End the Night:

At about 10:00 or 10:30 we'll head over to our "home" pub The Artful Dodger at 10 Isabella St. M4Y 1N1. This is where we will finish the night on the second floor which is where we have our monthly meetings. The staff and management have been very good to us. Here you can stay as long as you like.  https://www.theartfuldodger.ca/

You can eat at any of the pubs. My personal favourite is the steak and ale pie at The Firkin on Bay.

So come on out and celebrate our tribute to The Prince of Darkness. You can do the whole push or any part of it. Share some stories and have some fun. As I said to one of my OFY friends recently, "When is the last time to you talked to somebody about motorcycles for hours and their eyes didn't glaze over after 15 minutes"
