This machine was my daily rider until I dropped a seal into the cam chain tunnel after removing the valve cover to check the tappet clearances.  When I hit the starter button to position the cams for checking, that seal, rather than simply breaking up as it went between the crank sprocket and chain, instead lifted the chain and jumped the cam timing.  Apparently the head will have to be removed to check the valves and reset the valve timing.  I don't have a place to do it, so I'm putting the machine up for sale for a minimal prce
