I understand from an Email that the founder of the Canadian Vintage Motorcycle Group, Pete Gagan has died. In Sept., 1968 Pete sent a letter to about 30 people in Canada that he knew were interested in or collected old motorcycles. About 10 of them met at his house and decided to form such an association. Since - at that time a "Motorcycle Club" or "MC" had a bad image - the association was to be called the "Canadian Vintage Motorcycle Group".
