Since 1995, when I re-embarked upon a lifelong motorcycling journey and joined the CVMG, I collected and restored a number of engine/gearbox projects. I enjoyed providing my Montreal section clubmates with First-Start shows at the annual Ormstown rallies.
  • My 1963 Norton 400cc Electra twin, here on show at the CVMG booth at Salon de la Moto in 2012, was found at BCS. See First Start at CVMG Ormstown Rally at :
  • My 1960 AJS 650cc Model 31 CSR engine and gearbox.
  • 1960 Villiers 2T 250cc twin. I had one of these in my Norman B3.
  • 1958 Royal Enfield 700cc Constellation.
  • My Spare #1 Ariel Square Four MK2 engine. See First Start at 2222 CVMG Montreal Rally at :

  • Ariel SQ4 MK1 engine. See First Start at 2015 CVMG Ormstown Rally :
  • I had no frame in which to test the Norton Electra engine, so I spent some time trying it in the chassis of my 1969 BSA A65L Lightning. The project didn't come to fruition, since the BSA was sold.
  • TRIBSA project.
