Sammy Miller Museum – New Milton, Hampshire, England
The small Hampshire town of New Milton, just off the Channel in southern England is known for two attractions. The first is obviously the sea coast, which is a destination for sun seekers and yachters, the second is the local motorcycle museum.
Unique to this collection of vintage machinery is that no machine goes on display until it is in fully operational condition. The museum houses a significant collection of rare and unique British machines plus a much smaller representation of Italian and racing machines. Unique to this collection is the fact that all of the machines are fully restored and running.
Several of the machines have been featured on the pages of “The Classic MotorCycle”. In the early 2012 issues one may find road tests of a Wooler Model B and an Ixion “Ladies” Model.
Here's a March 2012 slide show to give an impression of the displays. A link to the museum has been added to the Resources (External Links) page.
